A Universal Love Story

The sun of men

and the maid of stars

live for now, and then,

sic transit glorias,

they will die forever,

two star-crossed lovers,

each part of the other,

in a future that neither

will ever see.

In time, they will be

born of each other,

the children of their kindred,

sister and brother,

father and mother

from their own past, lovers

eternal, at last,

beginning and ending

with a blast.
