Have Some Decency

It’s happening again.

The viewing stats for Writing Me Up are soaring, which means the screen scrapers are back.

It’s been happening every three or four weeks for the last several months.

I’m not entirely sure why they’ve chosen my work, or how the process of stealing my words works, or what these malcontent content thieves actually do with my writing.

All I know is that they never say please. Or thank you. Or even kiss my arse.

I suppose I could put some effort into finding out where my words are appearing. I suppose I could report the problem to WordPress. I suppose I could implement some sort of bot blocking thing.

I can’t be arsed.

If you want to steal my words, faceless bot-person, crack on. But at least have the decency to credit your source.
